Lol... Took leave today to wait for the TVs but we rejected the TVs in e end, still no TV =( Courts delivered on time buta few unhappy stuff: 1)they lack 1 DVD recorder which they says out of stock 2) Courts is not doing the installation of the TV on the wall but Sony is. And we didnt know abt it! So when I asked when is the Sony guy coming, the deliveryman cant tell me -_-" A word of fairness la: the original delivery date is 6th Jan so they most prob arrange everything nicely for 6th Jan. When we requested for delivery on 29th Dec, they most prob forgot to contact Sony lo. 3) They only collect the balance in cash and not cheque.

So a few calls later, we got e salesman who sell us the stuff. He said he will try to contact Sony person and find out when they installing.  Then I said ok lo, we will pay the balance so long as e goods are delivered and the TVs are mounted on the wall. Everything except the absent DVD Recorder la. Then we wait wait wait then e salesperson nvr call back. My dad told the deliverymen to take everything back lo since we are not going to pay and they cant leave w/o the $$. Haha... the salesman called back half an hr later then I told him his delivery guys left with the goods; he was ~!@#$#@!~ lol... Quite amusing.... Anyway, he say most prob Sony not coming today, so I said ok then u all deliver e day when Sony can make it lo. I say lets target 3rd Jan. Lets hope I will hav a TV mounted on the wall by 3rd Jan =p

Oh ya the metal gate shown in previous post is from Wrought Aluminium @ IMM. Dad say the metal gate is not very sturdy then ma say not good craftsmanship so I must rem not to use them in future. And I also rem their pricing is abit weird weird wan. They quote finish then called my ma to say need to increase price cuz of xxx reason.

 

An irrelevant thing: Fujitsu got purple laptop le! Woosh! I no need to switch to Sony for pretty laptops hahah..... But Sony VAIO is more of lifestyle lei; they gave matching colour laptop casing and mouse lei =p hahha.. Nm... Not as if I m changing laptop soon anyway =p

Now sitting in living rm using a foot rest as laptop table cuz the dining table in living rm is moved to new house le. Today is the day when the big items (ie 2 dining table and ma's bedrm set) are moved to the new house!

Today's cleaning are the fan which is packed full of sawdust and the ceiling and door. zzz.... Still got windows and a 2nd round cleaning of the cupboards... sianz...

 

Today got colleagues and 5th aunt's family came to visit. haha... think 5th aunt is abit scared of height too cuz she keep asking her kids to stay away from the planter box =p My grandma is very happy with the mirrors in my room. She say I can do a very gd reflection of myself on my wedding day. lol... I got an interesting grandma.

 

 

Muahaha even though my bro took camera to Taiwan, I still have my trusty Sony Ericsson hp!

Was trying to clear some work in the morning. Its a futile attempt. Hahah... Keep getting distracted by the presents, ppl popping by to say hi etc etc then I give up hahah... Lol... so fun... we went ard pushing the bottle into ppl's hands and ask them to look up then we snap lol... Quite a few dunno what hit them. N of course there are some who dun even know they r taking pic w meh meh bwhahah....

Was shopping for a clutch and some accessories for the wedding dinner on 25 dec. Not bad la end up with a black clutch. lol... met up w fren to go to fren place for dinner. Just 3 of us... Sad hor? So not happening.. Oh well.... We went to No Signboard to ta bao crab, prawn and veggie. Haha... Then we to fren place n watch sex in the city. My fren watched until fall asleep -_-" Tot its quite a gd show... dunno how she end up asleep. Then follow by little nonya =p My fren cont sleeping thru.... Think my fren dun like me =( Go HK with me then use blackberry; watch tv w me then watch till koon. Then ard 10+pm left fren's place le then I left the clutch at fren's place! -_-" feel so silly... spent $13 on cab fare to get the clutch.... Grrr... stupidity cost!

 

Woke up at 12 noon. Shiok! hahah it was a cold morning so buried myself under blankets n hibernate hahah.. Woke up and ate a junkie breakfast: twisties, hello panda, kit kat =D Then pack my room; dig out quite a few things. My "diary" were in quite a few forms: shreds of paper, organisers, notebook etc etc hahahh jialat.... Oh well now got blog le.... Cleared 1 shelf!

 

reached very early at 7pm then saw user so chat w him. Then found out that this powerful HOD went Japan for holiday. Yup yup... nothing special BUT she just gave birth in Jul! So this meant she brought a 5 month old baby to Japan!??! She's my idol. There are other reasons for idolising her. 1) She should be around 35 and have given birth to 3 kids and rise to HOD amidst all the maternity leaves 2) She can detect payment prob by looking at stats -_-" 3) She ask the right qns (Ya.. this may seem trivial. But imagine u are being surrounded by geeky details and yet u still can ask intelligent qns. not easy k! Geeky details plus some smoke thrown in) Everytime, she ask qns when I m presenting, I will be stunned la. Damn sianz... I nvr possess the knowledge/ability to answer her qns.... Attended a Think on your feet course but it doesnt help lo. The blardy course just teaches me how to present/smoke; it doesnt teach me how to think when someone throw me a qn! hahaha... K la... I dun hav brain so abit hard for ppl to teach me how to think? =D Now looking back, working with her is rather enriching haha.....

 

Ok I digressed.... hahah Back to the wedding... Its one of the few weddings I really enjoyed. The setting is quite good; assisted by the cool weathers. Its at The Legends Fort Canning, Palm Terrace. Its al fresco style, under a tent with nice lightings. Food is slightly below average wedding food quality.

 

Hahha... Fren had this cartoon met on how they met which was quite cute. Then the video on the morning ceremony was quite well-edited cuz I actually quite keen to watch the video and it flows. =p In the morning, they freeze the key in ice cube so the groom gotta use ang bao to exchange for hot water and brush to get the key out. Then ask them to choose the task to get the key. The correct key is in the most difficult task, dancing. hahah...

 

The songs my fren chose for march in also quite hip. First song is Greatest Day by Take That then 2nd song is 爱爱 by Gary Cao. lol.... Her first march in hor... she walk quite fast then I think she's walking faster than norm? lol... 2nd march in even cuter, she walked like everyday walk hahahha.... She's 1 calm n cool bride lol..... Think it helps that they pak tor for almost a decade. I turn to my neighbour n say," wah imagine if I wanna pak tor for 10 yrs then marry?" =p

 

After the wedding dinner, 4 of us decided to adjourn to .... KTV! bwhahah cuz next day no need to work mah... Went to party world orchard. Sang till 2.40am. The rm was actually till 3am but I wanna go home cuz I worried that it might take a long time to get a cab. Guess what? road outside the ktv is lined with taxis! -_-" If I had known, then wud have stayed all the way le. Haha... Reached home, bathe, then wait for hair to dry. In the midst, bro woke up to prepare for his flight to taiwan. Tis is the reason why I wanna go home; i dun wanna fight toilet with him. hahaha.... Then pa also woke up cuz he wanna send bro to airport. I told pa I can send but pa say he cant go back to sleep liao anyway... So at 4.30am, 3 out 5 are awake. lol... amazing....

 

Bro took my camera to Taiwan too. Dunno when can put up New House part 8 =(

woo hoo! long time no blog very busy la.... clean e new house, attend lessons, prepare xmas presents =p

 

OK first thing first. E street jazz lessons are making me feel as if I am back in driving lessons; uncoordinated, cannot differentiate left n right, abit uncomfortable since I sux hahah... Nm! A few more lessons; n i m sure I will like it as much as driving even tho i sux at it! bwhahah... Last sun was the 2nd lesson. then hor got this complicated leg move la. I was totally cannot follow. Then this fren kindly guide me on it; then my "energizer" fren told me to listen to instructor's instructions which goes like "left, left, right... right, right, left". *roll eyes* I cant differentiate left n right!! how i listen!?!? hahah... my lousy energizer fren! lol... Nm... Focus! I will be able to differentiate soon!

 

Back to house! hahah My cupboard is fully done! The last entry only show the cupboard then this stupid colleague of mine ask me how to open *faint* Anyway, the handles r fixed on! lol... N i can stand inside! lol... happy w e cupboard =D Oh but just realised my rm got no display cabinets; dunno wat to do w all my nice-looking ornaments.

Woo hoo! Finally got to see my new wardrobe! haha.... Thanks to my wonderful colleagues =p They decided to come see my house.

Its quite hilarious the procedure. We went chomp chomp to eat then I gotta go my old house get the remote to the gate of new house. So all 4 cars turn into old house there then all start trying to find place to do 3 pt turn (At least thats how they describe to me) sounds fun but I not there to view since I went up to get keys n change to slippers haha...

Then off to new house which is further down the road only. Then when we reach the front gate, got 1 extra car join in the fun so 5 cars turn into tis ulu condo hahah.... Think the neighbours must be wondering what mad ppl so late come view condo? hahah...

Then reach door and once again I cant open it hahah jialat =p Then I peep in and saw that e canvas off le so I thought clean le mah then turn out alot of dust hahah.... oh well

11 Dec lunch: Shanghai Nanxiang Xiao Long at Beach Road

12 Dec lunch: Bah kut teh at office there. Shiok! For once they actually server fat meat when I request. Previous times I ordered fat meat, the outcome looks like lean meat =p

12 Dec teabreak: My colleagues present a fish cake for my bdae cake -_-" hahah But I saw the swensens ice cream cake b4 the celeb =D Guess the surprise is spoilt haha... Can go see the facebook for pics of this celeb =p 

13 Dec dinner: Al Dente Trattoria. Main course is ok but dunno why not very satisfying =p So we ordered calamari which is ah.. alot of batter so dun really like it. Pics as follows. Desserts was at Swensens! We had Earthquake! Shiok =D In icecream mood =p

14 Dec dinner: Absolute Haven. Finally went! haha... Ok la the food is not bad. Quite like my main couse of chicken something haha... Got bacon and spinach and some avocado salad de. The chicken is rather tender. And their water still have strawberries so quite refreshing =p Pictures in fren's hp lol... dunno when will upload

 

13 Dec: Went to watch nutcracker! Haha... Before the show, fren commented," wah i feel very cultured" Then my reply was like hmm why lei... After e first half hr I know why le... haha its a ballet with Tchaikovsky score and no conversation so we pretty much have to gather the story from the dancing and hand gestures. We were sitting 5th row from the front so the facial expressions of the performers were quite clear. haha... Oh I learnt that there's something call boosters for kids to sit so that they are of adult height lol... Interesting...  Anyway, the setup etc all very pretty, very xmas like. Think dun bring ur kids to watch unless u plan on letting them learn ballet. hahah... The 2nd act is abit long though kinda draggy. Think I like the 1st scene of the xmas celebration at their houses the best cuz very colorful and cheerful =D haha The female lead, Clara, is quite good.... her facial expressions are apt hahah...  Oh then hor the way ppl dress for the show is realyl very extreme. I saw some ppl in slippers -_-" and most of the ang mohs are wearing dresses those quite formal kind hahha... Think shld dress up abit when go esplanade watch performance bah... Cultured mah... hee hee....

14 Dec: My first dance lesson! Omg! I m tired after the warm up exercise hahah.... The instructor is petite and very stretchable hahah... The way she bend etc wah... I cannot do it lo. Then I have no hand leg coordination, (confirmed once during driving; confirmed 2nd time during this lesson) haha damn jialat... Got 1 portion which I still cant do at the end of the lesson =p Dunno next wk how. haha..

My room is pink! hahah... Its not an accident; I chose e colour.... but it still came as a shock to see it in pink so soon considering I just chose e colour on Sat =p

 

OK chronological... Wah i tink i got amnesia sia.... It took me a long time to recall what I did on fri after my nap.

 

Downtime was from 0000hr to 0500hr and I gotta go back office. I managed to squeeze in time to wish my long-lasting fren happy bdae and she say its cuz I got a downtime to remind me. *Hurt* ( I know she reads this blog :p) Its a rather eventful downtime; I think my fren jinx it by not 欣赏-ing me being 1st to wish her happy bdae hahahah... Then somehow or other I manage to tu until 10+am then leave office and took cab home. haha... the cab driver quite chatty then considering I m high from lack of sleep so chat w him too lo. He very cute; he ask me if I take cab to n fro work everyday. :-| lol.... Anyway, once I reach home, I grab my pillow n blanket then concuss liao hahaha didnt bother to bathe/on computer/read/watch tv. Ya I m disgusting so? Call police lo... hahah....

Wake up then go balestier to look at lightings and 五金 w my parents. Wah we went into this lighting shop and got this cute salesman who totally remind me of my cute driving instructor eons ago. hahah... But sad la he's not e one serving us and my ma didnt buy anything anyway hahah... Then electrician called so we went back home to discuss abt powerpoints, cable laying etc.... Finish at 8+pm then go home and have dinner lol... At nite a few weird duty calls that I didnt need to do anything and it auto resolve.

 

Amnesia sets in again. I vaguely recall my bro helping me carry the laptop and walk 15 min to e new house =p then we ah choose colours for our rooms erm amnesia sets in again then go furniture mall and I finally decide on my bed! it will be 48" high so ya I will hav a new phrase soon: "too lazy to koon" hahahah.... Bought a hard mattress too supposedly good for the back =p Then ma bought a cute coffee table w red stools from Star. Then left my parents to go shopping at Bugis; tot to meet up w fren but got mis-comm lol... So in e end shop ard for a while then go Suntec then go Marina square to meet another fren hahha... Yeah I walked alot =p Then finally, the long-lasting fren's surprise bdae dinner! But the organiser aka the bf screw it up himself by letting it slip that she will b seeing me "later" *roll eyes* lol... But I think he's forgiven la hahah... Congrats QL! =D

 

Went new house again... This time I know its gonna be a long wait so I on my laptop and surf on the useless bay window aka ledge. hahahah Quite shiok but i tink i need a elevated table or something; not good for the back to bend down. Finally described e wardrobe I want to the carpenter. Think this should be my main achievement for the day.

Then tu ard somemore then I offered to be driver for my mum cuz she wanna go see some lighting stuff. Pa went home to rest then I drove mum to Balestier and I did my 1st solo parallel park! Its an utter disaster! I tried like 2,3 times to get into the lot and its crooked la! It doesnt help that a champagne BMW is behind me la. Oh well heck! It went into the box so ... I change my mind this is my greatest achievement of the day! bwhahahah....

Ma saw a full living room set in the colour she chose then both of us realise its just not to our taste so we decided to go areas with more furniture shop to get colours ideas. Went to AMK Nova, AMK Courts and this furniture hub at AMK too. Then managed to saw a suitable colour. Ma dun wan dark colour hence quite difficult to get ideas. Nowadays all the living room set/designs are all in walnut colour de. sigh.... Anyway at courts, I saw this cute pink cushion with 2 hands de hahah think whether to buy for my room. Hhaha shld suit it right? both pink lol.....

At nova, I also saw this idea for dressing table. Sliding mirror with shelves behind e mirror which is quite cool so I wannna change my bedrm design too! Ha! So wait till tml to tell the carpenter lo

 

Did some work in e morn then go over and chat with carpenter who said cuz my rm too small so cannot do sliding mirror =( So no fish , prawn also can lo. Change to swing out kind of mirror lo... N yea I saw that my rm is painted pink le! Amazing! hahah so fast....

Kinda sianz of shopping for e house so went orchard to shop for a bdae present for myself but in e end only end up w toiletries n no bdae present *roll eyes*

 

N this conclude my super long weekend which doesnt feel so long after all =p
