Where to start from....

Been super duper bz cuz of performance on 13th Sep

I was a lucky girl too. Just nice during the week b4 performance I was on course and there's some break from work. Heng ah, i tell u.

 

Mon: Go dance practice after course. Practice ends at 11pm. Fell down and knock my head during bathing.

 

Tue: Go dance practice after course. Practice ends at 11pm. Ordered to go make contacts b4 leaving hahaha... Was abit worried b4 falling asleep. I m going to poke my own eyes!!!

 

Wed: Go make contacts. Spent 2 hrs at optom there. Amazingly, the optom remembers me from my part-time there 8 yrs ago. So I got exactly 3 pairs for free. =p Go for full run dance rehearsal w a fake stage at SMU there. Its rather scary cuz got so many ppl watching! After the full run, I immediately go toilet to take out the contacts! Took 4 minutes! haha...

 

Thur: Body aching tho dunno due to fall or practice hahha... then no one jio practice so rest day!

 

Fri: Someone jio practice. Then colleague's bdae so I abit torn ... then in e end celebrated my colleague's bdae first then go over for practice lo. Sorry Meow. :p Hahhaha but lucky got go e practice session hhaha I got alot of moves timing out with the rest. So my dear mates spent alot of time helping me hahah.... Always rem the square at  SMU Watsons there. Then got this grp of guys behind us doing some dance too hahah Think they must wonder why we keep playing the same song again and again haha.... Think we practice till 12+am. Super siao onz hor? Not me la... e rest... they r full of energy!!!

 

Sat: Full dress + makeup rehearsal at e actual location: NAFA Campus 3 LFT. Think we reach ard 1pm. Then do makeup all e way till practicing of curtain run at 5+, 6pm. Then full run at 8pm or so then. Makeup took alot of time cuz our dance instructor helped 15 of us drew e eyes portion and she gotta help her kids make up too. Super duper bz for her. Alot of waiting ard in very cramped spaces so didnt get to practice much. E wait is quite agonising. Was quite tired after the day ended even tho didnt dance much. Quite demoralised cuz our 1 and only rehearsal is quite crappy; no energy, blocking in a mess etc etc

 

Sun: Actual day!! OMG! We reached at 9.30am and we are 1 of the earlier groups to reach. Gd too so that we have more space to do eyes, hair etc. Once again, our dance instructor do the hair and eyes for 15 of us. The power of makeup ! woo hoo~

                

 

Then she see my hair then was like "I dunno how to style short hair" So she got 1 of her students to help me do. And she did a great job! hahah... Then got this dancer help me style it up even more and become ....  

 

Think I suddenly grew taller by 2 inches bwhahha....

 

Lunch was a packet of rice which I share w my fren and we still didnt finish the packet. Too many butterflies in the stomach =p

 

Time suddenly flies very very fast and its the matinee show le!! OMG! As we are posing behind the curtains, my legs suddenly become very jelly and I feel very very nervous! hahahah...  Then halfway thru the dance, then can feel the adrenaline rush and hey its just another dance at the studio. Think mainly cuz my contacts super low power plus lighting dark so cant see audience at all! bwhahah... N 3 min really is quite fast hahah... By the time, I have some feeling of wat I m doing, we already in the 3rd section of the dance liao. hahaha...

  

After the matinee show, we are taking grp photos of all e performers, which is a feat since there are 200 of us hahah... Then I was in a kneeling position so my heels are quite uncomfy. ~!@#$% and the photographer took so long somemore!! grrr....

 

Finally, we are "released" to meet our friends lol.... still quite amused by the term... hahha met up w my colleagues. One of them ask me if someone owe me $50 hahah.... Guess I cant master the diva look hahah... end up looking like loanshark? =p

 

Dinner time! lol... Packet rice and this time slightly more appetite le so took 1 packet for myself but still didnt finish la. haha... Then cannot eat in dressing room mah so quite a few of us just go outside and sit on the floor to eat lo. Hahhaa... Must look quite unglam w e above costume =p

 

Whole day stuck in the tiny dressing rm is really... sianz... In e end, someone started marking out the steps lo. haha Marking is not the full moves la just move ur hands, butt, legs, chest in the general direction only lo. hahah quite fun lei! something to do besides nua-ing =p and helps in rem-ing e steps =D

 

Once again, time zooms past and hey its the night performance le. Dunno why just b4 the performance, I suddenly feel very lethargic =S then during the performance got 1 portion I suddenly feel abit faint n got stumble abit. :-| but think the rest perform quite well so my lethargic-ness went un-noticed? haha...

 

And its all over!!!!! hahahah omg!!!! after so many mondays of pia-ing down after work and the various additional practices, its over!!! Super high! We cant stop cheering and applauding! hahah....

 

Curtain call time, I smuggled my iPhone onto stage by... stuffing it in my boots! bwhahah.... This girl from another grp was quite impressed hahah... Tried to take a pic but not very successful. Think iPhone not good for taking photo of urself =p

 

 

My fren's SE phone better and it even recognises the owner! haha... cuz e owner is e least blur! =p How my fren got e phone onto stage? Stuff in boots too! hahah.. Oh my fake eyelashes drop off before the curtain call! Heng arh! its the first time it drop off hahah... =p

 

 

Last few pics taken in the dressing rm hahah... We are among the last to leave. Its amazing how fast everyone disappear... haha... Think cuz some of them hav exams the next day. Amazing hor? They r quite garang. Got exams still participate =p

Travel home and begin the process of going back to normal Yan. First thing I did was taking out contacts which is a big mistake cuz my wet hands caused the eyeliner to run and drip down my face hahahha not a pretty sight. But lucky no one can see hahahha.... Then the left eye contact lens got stuck cuz too dry! So sccary!!! In e end have to use a bit more force lo.... =S then the removal of makeup on face: use 4 wipes and makeup removal cream to clean up follow by facial foam haha.. Hair is the amazing wan.... Imagine it can still stand after the whole day of performance. Run conditioner through it then shampoo then condition again.... lol.... Then after bathing, leave-in conditioner... The whole process back to normal took 40 minute hahha....

 

Hahah... The whole performance is fun! Rather nerve-racking but the euphoria generated is something similar to going on a long trip; sure helps in sustaining through work... Hahah.... The girls have been a crazy, fun-loving, helpful bunch! N we r same frequency too!! Rem got once instructor told us to start from a certain place but somehow the WHOLE class interpreted wrongly and started from the SAME, but different from instructor's request, portion. hahah sure will miss them~~~

 

 Wanted to upload the 1st class and the performance videos but totally cluess on how to that hahah... =p
